The GANAG model
The lesson planning method that we use at the Columbus School is called GANAG, in which teachers:
opportunities to see and receive feedback about the progress they are making toward lesson goals and daily objectives.
- G- state the goal
- A- access the prior knowledge
- N- provide and teach new information
- A- let students apply their knowledge
- G- generalize their knowledge from the lesson, or close it out.
